Questions for Sermon on
October 10-11

Thank you for joining us in our study of Luke. Our prayer is that each of you will follow the weekly readings and join together with others to discuss the questions sent to you each week in this email.  Look for our emails each Monday in preparation for the upcoming sermon the following weekend.

Our hope is that you will see God working in your life and in others around you and you will be able to take your next step in following Jesus.

1. How is God moving in your life?

2. Have you ever had a nice get-away interrupted by an opportunity to serve a needyperson? If so, tell about it.

OBSERVE
3. Compare and contrast the Gerasenes’ response to the demonized man to Jesus’response to him.

4. What changes did Jesus cause for the demonized man?

REFLECT
5. The Gerasenes were “overcome with fear” [v.37].  What fears would the Gerasenes have to face if they would choose to follow Jesus?

6. Identify situations today which have similarities to:
    Region of the Gerasenes
    Demon-possessed man
    Killing a herd of Pigs vs. healing a person
    Jesus leaving personally but leaving His witness behind.
